Role Overview
We are hiring a Freelance Data Engineer with strong expertise in Matillion ETL, SSIS, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Matillion ETL and SSIS
- Build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake
- Integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise data platforms
- Ensure data quality, monitoring, and pipeline reliability
- Optimize performance and scalability of existing data infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data governance and analytics initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience in Matillion ETL
- Proven experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake Data Warehouse
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, performance tuning)
- Experience in ETL pipeline design and data integration
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Experience in performance optimization and monitoring
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD in data engineering
