Job Description

Flexing It is a freelance consulting marketplace that connects freelancers and independent consultants with organisations seeking independent talent.

Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a leading consumer goods firm, is looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Data Analyst to support UK- based e-commerce business. This role will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple platforms to generate actionable insights that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Integration

1) Gather, validate, and consolidate data from multiple business platforms,

including:

o E-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce)

o Marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.)

o Digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, Email Marketing)

o CRM systems

o Customer support platforms

o Inventory and operational systems

2) Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting sources.

Analysis & Insights

1) Analyze sales, customer, product, marketing, and operational data to identify trends and business opportunities.

2) Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover drivers of performance and areas for

improvement.

3) Identify anomalies, risks, and growth opportunities proactively.

4) Translate raw data into meaningful business insights for leadership teams.

Reporting & Dashboard Management

1) Design and maintain automated dashboards and reporting frameworks.

2) Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.

3) Track and report on key business KPIs, including:

o Revenue and profitability

o Conversion rates

o Customer acquisition cost (CAC)

o Customer lifetime value (CLV)

o Marketing ROI

o Inventory performance

o Customer retention metrics

4) Present findings in a clear, concise, and business-friendly format.

Recommendations & Action Planning

1) Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

2) Work closely with management to prioritize initiatives that improve business

performance.

3) Monitor implementation outcomes and measure business impact.

4) Support strategic planning with data-backed decision-making.

Stakeholder Communication

1) Present insights and recommendations to senior management.

2) Explain complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

3) Collaborate with marketing, operations, service, and leadership teams.

Location: Delhi/NCR

Capacity: Full Time

Nature of Work: Hybrid

Skills Required

Technical Skills

  • 3–7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or E-commerce Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • SQL
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
  • Google Sheets
  • Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
  • Experience working with APIs and data extraction tools.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Understanding of data modelling and data visualization best practices.

Other Skills

  • Strong ability to synthesize large volumes of data into meaningful conclusions.
  • Ability to connect data findings with commercial outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable working UK timings
  • Experience working in e-commerce, retail, D2C, or marketplace businesses a must.
  • Understanding of customer journeys, conversion funnels, digital marketing metrics, and online sales performance.
