We are seeking an experienced FreeSWITCH Developer with advanced expertise in ESL scripting, AI integration, Signalwire audio streaming, and network-level debugging. This role focuses on building sophisticated, cloud-native telecommunications solutions with AI capabilities. You will architect and implement complex real-time communication systems, integrate modern AI technologies, handle advanced network diagnostics, and containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain advanced FreeSWITCH modules and applications using Python and ESL (Event Socket Layer) scripting
• Design and implement AI-powered features integrated with FreeSWITCH (conversational IVR, voice recognition, sentiment analysis, speech-to-text processing)
• Work with Signalwire Mod for advanced audio streaming, processing, and manipulation capabilities
• Debug and troubleshoot network-level challenges including packet analysis, SIP flow debugging, and protocol-level issues
• Containerize FreeSWITCH applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes
• Design and implement call control logic, IVR systems, and voice/video communication features with advanced routing
• Integrate FreeSWITCH with third-party APIs, ML models, and external systems using Python
• Optimize application performance, manage distributed systems, and ensure high availability in production
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following microservices and DevOps best practices
• Conduct network analysis and debugging using tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, and SIP protocol analyzers
• Collaborate with team members on architecture design, code reviews, and continuous improvement

• Minimum 2+ years of professional development experience with FreeSWITCH in production environments
• Advanced expertise in ESL (Event Socket Layer) scripting and FreeSWITCH event handling
• Proven experience integrating AI and machine learning models with FreeSWITCH (LLMs, voice AI, ASR, TTS)
• Working experience with Signalwire Mod for audio streaming and advanced media processing
• Demonstrated capability to debug and resolve network-level challenges (SIP protocol, RTP, media negotiation)
• Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with proven production experience
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Deep understanding of VoIP concepts, SIP protocol, RTP, and telecommunications standards
• Experience with FreeSWITCH APIs, modules, C modules, and extension development
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, and distributed system integration patterns
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and advanced command-line tools
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and caching solutions (Redis)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
