Key Responsibilities
- Audit current HR policies, documentation, and compliance across multiple states
- Evaluate compensation structures and HR systems readiness
- Conduct stakeholder interviews across plant and corporate teams
- Deliver a detailed diagnostic report with actionable recommendations
- Design graded compensation structures across all employee levels
- Develop and implement HR policies (leave, POSH, code of conduct, etc.)
- Establish performance management frameworks
- Standardise employment contracts and documentation
- Select and implement an appropriate HRMS
- Create a statutory compliance calendar and governance framework
- Train internal HR team on systems and processes
- Document SOPs for all HR functions
- Conduct post-implementation review
- Advise on hiring a permanent senior HR leader
Skills Required
- 15+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in building HR systems from scratch
- Background in manufacturing/industrial sectors preferred
- Experience managing organisations with 200–500 employees
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws (EPF, ESI, POSH, Factories Act, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with HRMS implementation
- Ability to work independently in a fractional leadership capacity
