Why This Role Matters:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts and budgets in collaboration with Sales and Business Heads.
- Track actual revenue against budget/forecast; analyze variances by product, channel, and geography and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Build and maintain revenue MIS, dashboards, and management reporting packs for leadership and board reviews.
- Partner with Sales and Product teams on pricing, discounting, and margin analysis to support commercial decisions.
- Analyze customer/product/channel-wise profitability to identify growth levers and underperforming segments.
- Support annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range revenue planning, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Drive automation and improvement of revenue reporting processes and data accuracy.
- Work closely with Sales, Business, and Accounting teams to ensure revenue recognition aligns with actuals.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management on revenue trends and forecast accuracy.
What Will Make You Successful:
- Chartered Accountant with 5–6 years of experience in FP&A, revenue/commercial finance, or business finance roles, preferably with exposure to a high-growth, transaction-heavy business (fintech, BFSI, e-commerce, or similar).
- Demonstrated experience in revenue forecasting, MIS reporting, and business partnering with Sales/Commercial teams.
- Prior experience presenting to senior leadership or working closely with a CFO's office is preferred.
- Advanced Excel (financial modeling) and strong PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of Power BI/Tableau for dashboards.
- Familiarity with an ERP (SAP/Oracle) and SQL is a plus for pulling and validating transactional revenue data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; comfortable working with large, granular datasets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence Sales and business leaders.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work to tight monthly/quarterly close timelines.
