Our client, a leading BIG 4 consulting organization is looking for a FP&A Consultant – Finance Transformation for its India Practice.

Role:FP&A Consultant – Finance Transformation

Location: Bengaluru, India

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role.

Our client is seeking an FP&A Consultant with strong consulting and finance transformation experience to support its clients in improving financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes. The role requires deep functional FP&A expertise, exposure to large-scale transformation programs, and strong business partnering capabilities. Technical exposure to FP&A tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting & Transformation

  • Support and deliver FP&A transformation initiatives, including process redesign, operating model changes, and performance management enhancements.
  • Lead or support diagnostic assessments of current FP&A processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support FP&A transitions including centralization, CoE setup, and standardization initiatives.
  • Drive change management activities to ensure adoption of new FP&A processes and ways of working.

FP&A & Business Partnering

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting for client engagements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Commercial) to align financial planning with business strategy.
  • Develop financial models, scenario analysis, and what-if analysis to support decision-making.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders using data-driven analysis.

Analytics & Insights

  • Perform financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Support automation and simplification of FP&A reporting and analytics processes.

Skills & Experience Required

Must Have:

  • 4–10 years of experience in FP&A consulting, finance transformation, or performance improvement roles with digital transformation.
  • Strong functional FP&A knowledge (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting).
  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to FP&A tools such as SAP SAC, Anaplan, Hyperion, Tagetik, or similar EPM platforms.
  • MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent finance qualification.
  • Experience supporting large or global clients.
