FP&A team is focused on Commercial Reporting and Analysis. The primary function of the team is to provide Management Reporting to Operations Senior Leadership, manage Budget, Forecasting and Financial Projections for Global Operations and partner with Financial Control Group to oversee expense management.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
o Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and planning calendars.
o Provide timely explanations for variances between actuals and forecasts/budgets to senior management.
o Collaborate with Operations managers to develop silo-level budgets aligned with team targets.
2. Business Management & Reporting
o Track strategic deliverables and provide insightful analysis to support senior decision-making.
o Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business review packs.
o Support management and financial reporting with ad-hoc analysis and insights.
3. Expense and Headcount Oversight
o Monitor compensation and non-compensation expenses.
o Manage headcount tracking and modeling, including FTEs and contingent staff.
o Track location strategy and change-the-bank headcount movements and reductions.
3. Risk and Opportunity Management
o Identify and report on risks and opportunities within the financial plan.
o Maintain confidentiality and integrity of operations data.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
o Present financial and operational insights across the Operations organization.
o Liaise with stakeholders during budget/forecast cycles and monthly reviews.
Skills required (essential)
o Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and streamline processes.
o Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
o Confidence to influence stakeholders and work independently or as part of a team.
