- Establish and operationalize best practices for:
- Reference System Architecture (features, use cases, exclusions)
- Design Principles and Standards
- Security (platform and applications)
- Secure Code Scanning (if possible)
- Version Control and Branching Strategy
- Release Management and Deployment Strategy
- Testing Strategy (automated if possible)
- Monitoring and Event Management Strategy
- Performance Management Strategy
- Cost Monitoring Strategy
- Develop and maintain comprehensive System Interaction diagrams and reference implementations for Foundry.
- Monitor Foundry release notes for changes that may cause potential issues or disruptions.
- Assess and recommend new features to enhance Global Projects Foundry capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Support product roles in vendor engagement, providing architectural guidance on system implementation, roadmaps, and feature development.
- Provide architectural oversight across multiple delivery teams, ensuring consistent application of best practices and standards.
- Act as a technical mentor and leader for delivery teams, fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence within Foundry.
- Offer occasional consulting on operational issues, providing expert insights to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Partner with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and the product team to define and prioritize Technical User Stories for Foundry platform evolution.
- Serve as a backup Solution Architect, providing comprehensive architectural oversight and strategic direction when necessary.
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Develop and maintain comprehensive System Interaction diagrams and reference implementations for Foundry.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience developing/ designing architecture for data integration platforms
- Familiarity with data platforms and tools like Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Snowflake, Spark, Tableau/Power BI, etc
- Minimum 2 years of Palantir-Foundry experience
- Experience with different programming languages Python, SQL, Web Development Languages
- Monitor Foundry release notes for changes that may cause potential issues or disruptions.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture, data integration, and analytics
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex data systems
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data management principles
- Assess and recommend new features to enhance Global Projects Foundry capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Support product roles in vendor engagement, providing architectural guidance on system implementation, roadmaps, and feature development.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Experience with machine learning and AI techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.
- Certifications in Palantir Foundry.
- Any prior working experience in Oil Gas sector.
