We're hiring our Founding Solution Engineer — a hands-on engineer who owns the technical side of client integrations end-to-end.
You'll work directly with Android and iOS developers at our clients companies — many of them some of the best engineers in the country, building products at unicorn scale. You'll guide them through integration, catch issues before they become production bugs, and be the technical bridge between OTPless engineering and the client's dev team.
Every integration is a front-row seat into how India's top engineering teams build, debug, and ship. You'll absorb patterns, tools, and thinking that most engineers never get access to.
Between integration cycles, you'll contribute to our internal product development — making OTPless better for every future client.
This role directly determines how fast clients go live. That's real impact.
What you'll do:
- Own the full technical integration lifecycle — from kickoff call to production go-live
- Walk client dev teams through OTPless SDK integration on Android (primary) and iOS (secondary)
- Review client integration code and proactively surface issues before they ship
- Debug across mobile, network, and backend layers — wherever the problem lives
- Handle technical escalations from client engineering teams during and after integration
- Build and maintain sharp integration docs, sample apps, and reference implementations
- Be the trusted technical voice in client conversations — comfortable holding the room with senior engineering and product stakeholders
- Contribute to internal SDK development and product improvements between integration cycles
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Client Success, and Engineering to ensure clean handoffs
What we're looking for:
- 1–3 years of hands-on Android development (Kotlin preferred, Java fine)
- Shipped at least one production Android app — at a startup, a converted internship, or a serious side project on the Play Store
- Comfortable with Android Studio, Logcat, Gradle, Git, and standard debugging workflows
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and network debugging tools like Charles Proxy or Chrome DevTools
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be on Slack, email, and calls with client dev teams daily
- Patient and methodical under ambiguity — you debug first, panic never
- Client-first mindset with technical conviction — willing to push back when you know better
- Bonus: iOS (Swift) exposure, React Native or Flutter experience, or prior third-party SDK integration work
- Product startup background preferred over service company experience
- Based in Bengaluru and ready to work on-site, full-time
