This is a quick blurb for the SDR (Sales Development Representative) – Founding Hire role (2-5 yrs experience - not more than this) -
We sell to VPs and CTOs of engineering teams. Our buyers are technical, skeptical, and get 50 cold emails a day. We're looking for someone who has actually done this before — not someone who thinks they can.
We need someone who:
- Has sold developers tools, DevOps, or any engineering-facing SaaS before
- Knows the difference between a VP Engineer and an EM, and when to talk to which
- Can write a 4-line cold email that doesn't sound like a cold email
- Has worked in the US/global markets from India or a similar timezone gap
- Doesn't need hand-holding on how to research a prospect
- preferred but not mandatory - if someone has worked remotely and knows the remote working ethics and protocols.
You won't be handing off warm inbound leads. You'll be building a pipeline from scratch — LinkedIn, email, cold calls or any other out-of-the-box way— into accounts where nobody asked for us. (Outbound Lead Generation)
