Founding Engineer Wanted (ESOPs + Revenue Share, Lower Salary, Remote/WFH) | Ekam Apps

We provide AI Services and are building micro-SaaS apps powered by AI Agents at Ekam Apps, and looking for a true founding engineer to join our early team.

This is not your standard job offer, read carefully.

What's on the table

• ESOPs & Revenue Sharing: Get real skin in the game, not just a fixed salary.
• Base salary (transparent: lower than market rate, but livable): upside is in equity, revenue share, and the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.
• You will be the goto Tech Person in the Team.
• Potential to become CTO: If you prove yourself, you'll have a clear path to the CTO role.
• Fully Remote (WFH) to start: We care about results more than anything else.
• Gurugram location a plus: If you're in Gurgaon, we can collaborate in person and build faster.

Who you are

• 3+ years experience (I have 19 years myself, so anywhere up to 20 works, what matters is your ability to learn and execute).
• AI and cursor/windsurf by our side: As long as you're a good developer in any technology and a quick learner, we are good.
• Startup-ready: You thrive when things move fast, ambiguity is normal, and real ownership is the default.
• A doer: You don't wait for instructions; you take initiative, lead, and hustle to get things done.
• Ready for full responsibility: If you prefer the safety of a large team, this isn't the place.
• Passionate about building: You care about creating real products, not just shipping code.
• People skills: You'll be managing and working with a small remote team (4 as of now, we don't plan to grow beyond 10 in the near term), so being able to collaborate and communicate well is a must.
• Committed: If you can't see yourself sticking around for at least 2 years, you'll be doing injustice to your own career and to Ekam.

Recruitment Process: If shortlisted on your resume/linked profile, 3 rounds of Interviews with Programming/System Design Questions.

• Tools & frameworks:
• AI: We work on different No-code: (think n8n, RelevanceAI, Make.com), Low-code (think Crew AI, Langgraph, Pydantic) and building entirely in code.
• Application stack: Node.js, Python, React, Next.js, Flutter (as needed)
