Founding Engineer (Computer Vision)

About the Company

My client is a YC-backed AI startup building computer vision performance monitoring for factory workers. The company is at roughly $1.5-2M ARR and doubling in revenue every month, hiring ahead of that growth.

The team is 10 people, including two founding engineers and a co-founder who leads all of engineering. Everyone on the team has baseline computer vision experience; this hire is the dedicated specialist.

About the Role

They are hiring a Founding Engineer to be the computer vision spike on the team. While the broader engineering team works with CV at a baseline level, this role is for someone whose entire research and development background is in computer vision, with specific depth in world models.

This is a deliberate, quality-first search: the team is prioritizing finding the best person over closing the fastest. You'd report directly to the co-founder who leads engineering and work with him day-to-day. The culture is 996 in-person in New Delhi, built for engineers who want maximum ownership and pace, not work-life balance.

What You'll Own

• Computer vision research and development as the CV specialist on the team
• World model work applied to Optifye's factory-monitoring product
• Ship CV systems into a production product at a company doubling revenue monthly
• Work directly with the co-founder on engineering direction
• Raise the CV bar for the broader 10-person team as the domain specialist
  
  

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3-5 years of engineering experience with a computer vision research and development focus
• World model experience
• Prior startup experience
• Demonstrated slope: has built or shipped something genuinely interesting
• New Delhi in-person, start-up hours
