Role Overview
We're looking for a Founding DevRel Engineer who lives at the intersection of Technology Innovation, AgenticAI, and Community engagement.
This isn't a support role—it's a builder + communicator role. You'll shape how developers understand NitroStack, influence our product through real-world feedback, and become a trusted voice in the AI developer ecosystem.
If you enjoy shipping demos, writing deeply technical content, engaging with developers online, and being the bridge between product and community—this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
1. Build & Inspire
Create high-quality demos, sample apps, and reference architectures using NitroStack
- Showcase real-world use cases across AI agents, MCP integrations, and distributed systems
- Experiment publicly with new AI workflows and share learnings
2. Content & Thought Leadership
Write technical blogs, tutorials, and deep dives, Produce content across platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, dev forums)
- Simplify complex concepts like agentic systems and AI orchestration into compelling narratives
3. Developer Community Engagement
- Actively engage with developers across social platforms and communities
- Respond to questions, gather feedback, and advocate for developers internally
- Build relationships with early adopters, contributors, and ecosystem partners
4. Ecosystem & Advocacy
- Represent NitroStack at conferences, meetups, and hackathons
- Collaborate with influencers, open-source contributors, and AI builders
- Help grow NitroStack's presence in the AI developer ecosystem
5. Product Feedback Loop
- Work closely with engineering and product teams
- Translate developer feedback into actionable insights
- Help improve developer experience, APIs, and documentation
What We're Looking For
Core Requirements
3+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar roles
- Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML systems, including:
- Agentic systems
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar frameworks
- LLM-based applications and orchestration
- Solid engineering background (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)
- Experience building and shipping developer-facing projects or demos
Content & Communication
Proven ability to create engaging technical content
- Strong presence or potential on social platforms (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly
Community Mindset
- Genuine interest in developer communities and open ecosystems
- Experience engaging with developers online and offline
- Empathy for developers and a strong sense of developer experience (DX)
Nice to Have
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
- Background in distributed systems or infrastructure tooling
- Speaking experience at conferences or meetups
- Familiarity with developer growth strategies and content analytics
