The Role: Founding Data Scientist
You will help build intelligence that operates in the real world. The interesting problems begin when the model leaves the notebook and enters a changing system.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Develop world models for real-world environments
- Work across Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, and Classical Machine Learning
- Design systems that learn from imperfect, evolving data
- Build systems that adapt to dynamic conditions
- Drive decisions and actions
- Move from research → systems → real-world impact
What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)
- Strong grounding in Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, and Classical ML
- Reinforcement Learning is especially important
- Solid understanding of how models behave in real environments
- Experience working with noisy, real-world data
Bonus If
- You've explored world models or simulation-based learning
- You've taken models beyond experimentation into deployed systems
- Agentic application building experience is good to have
