About The Role
They are hiring the founding data scientist which will be the very first hire for the data science team. This person will work cross-function with the engineering and product team to build amazing products from scratch.
Requirements
- Bachelors from a top-tier engineering college like IITs, BITs, NITs etc.
- Hands-on with machine learning libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power
- BI
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
- Must have worked extensively on unstructured data
- Knowledge of credit risk and working on a financial product would be a plus
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to bring actionable insights and drive decision-making for the organization
- Build predictive and prescriptive models to solve business challenges such as risk assessment, credit scoring, customer behaviour prediction and fraud detection
- Collaborate with engineers to define data collection strategies, ensure data quality, and build pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Partner with product teams to integrate data science solutions into financial products and improve customer experience.
- Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to assess the impact of new features and strategies
