• ABOUT THE ROLE
  
  

The Founding AI Engineer will play a critical role in building the technical foundation of the platform. This individual will architect, develop, and deploy the AI systems that power the company's core products from the ground up.

As the engineering team expands, this role is expected to evolve into Head of Engineering, leading technical strategy and scaling the platform.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to build AI systems that directly power real-world enterprise workflows.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  
  

AI Architecture & Development

• Architect and build agent-based AI systems capable of running long-lived, stateful workflows across complex multi-step development processes.
• Design and deploy production-grade AI agents that manage full workflow pipelines including document ingestion, retrieval, reasoning, and evaluation layers.
  
  

AI Pipeline & Automation

• Build scalable AI pipelines that process large volumes of structured and unstructured data, including documents, policies, drawings, emails, and enterprise data sources.
• Implement continuous evaluation and optimization loops to improve AI performance in production.
  
  

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Design and maintain secure, scalable multi-tenant infrastructure for enterprise clients.
• Implement cloud-native deployment architecture, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and security-first infrastructure practices.
  
  

Product Development

• Develop customer-facing interfaces using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern React frameworks.
• Build intuitive tools that enable enterprise teams to interact with AI-driven workflows.
  
  

Integrations & Data Systems

• Build integrations with enterprise tools such as Microsoft ecosystem platforms, document management systems, and property management software.
• Manage large-scale document ingestion and processing pipelines.
  
  

Engineering Leadership

• Build internal tooling and development frameworks that allow a small, high-performing engineering team to move extremely fast.
• Define engineering standards, architecture decisions, and best practices as the team grows.
• REQUIREMENTS
• Must-Have
• Strong experience building AI agents and agentic systems in production environments.
• Deep understanding of agent architectures, reasoning agents, and tool-calling workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as:
• LangGraph
• Claude Agent SDKs
• MCP tools or similar agent frameworks
• Strong background in software engineering fundamentals and scalable system design.
• Experience managing infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and security in production environments.
• High level of ownership and autonomy, with the ability to take projects from concept to production independently.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments with strict privacy and security requirements.
• Familiarity with Claude SDK and Anthropic ecosystem tools.
• Experience building data scraping systems, retrieval pipelines, or document-heavy processing systems.
• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as:
• Microsoft Suite
• Property management systems
• Real estate development software
• Background in construction technology, real estate technology, or property technology sectors.
• Strong interest in using AI to accelerate physical infrastructure development and real-world projects.
