Role Overview
The Founder's Office is the engine room of Terratern. In this role, you'll work directly with the founding team on high-priority initiatives across strategy, operations, growth, and execution. You will operate as a problem-solver, project owner, and strategic extension of the founders—bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to fast-moving business needs.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys ambiguity, learns fast, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every decision leaves a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with founders to execute mission-critical strategic and operational projects.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives—from scoping to execution to measurable outcomes.
- Conduct market and competitive research to generate actionable insights for business decisions.
- Build dashboards, reports, and documentation to improve visibility and alignment across teams.
- Collaborate with Growth, Sales, Operations, Product, and HR to drive seamless execution.
- Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement process improvements across business units.
- Own special projects such as new product/feature launches, business experiments, or GTM initiatives.
- Prepare internal and external communication materials, including founder decks, investor updates, and leadership review documents.
Key Performance Indicators
- Delivery and quality of high-impact projects.
- Strength of insights, recommendations, and decision support to founders.
- Cross-functional alignment and coordination effectiveness.
- Operational improvements and measurable efficiency gains.
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and ability to operate independently.
Eligibility & Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in startups, consulting, strategy, VC/PE, operations, or similarly high-performance roles.
- Strong analytical skills paired with strategic thinking.
- Exceptional communication—clear, structured, and crisp.
- Ability to work under ambiguity and build structure in unstructured environments.
- High ownership mindset and comfort with rapid execution cycles.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- Bonus: Exposure to automation tools, SQL, or no-code workflows.
