We develop AI-powered autonomous robotic systems for exploration and mapping in extreme, GPS-denied environments. Our dual-use platform integrates advanced autonomy, multi-sensor fusion, and AI geology models. We serve the mining, defence, and space sectors with applications in mineral discovery, planetary resource prospecting, and perimeter patrolling.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. As a Founders Associate at Uncharted AI, you will work closely with the founding team to support strategic planning, operational efficiency, and project execution. Responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing business reports, coordinating cross-functional projects, and identifying opportunities for growth. You will also assist in investor management, partnership development, and help drive the overall vision of the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple domains, driving impact in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support strategy & operations: partnership outreach (mining/defense/space sectors India/Australia/Middle East), accelerator deliverables, and event/pitch prep.
- Assist with pitch decks, investor updates, data rooms, and fundraising materials.
- Coordinate projects: demo logistics, competition submissions, internal tracking, hiring support.
- Conduct quick market/competitive research on embodied AI, robotics in harsh environments, and sector trends.
- Help with BD: outreach, follow-ups, and opportunity tracking.
- Handle founder requests: document prep, comms, ad-hoc analysis.
- Contribute to ops scaling: processes, tools, light admin support.
- Support visibility: social updates, content inputs around wins and demos.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including market research and strategic analysis.
- High-agency, fast learner who thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative.
- 0–2 years experience (startups, consulting, VC, strategy roles, strong internships, students or fresh grads from top MBA programs).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including report preparation and investor communications.
- Project management and coordination skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic startup environment.
- Ability to work with autonomy and high levels of responsibility.
- Experience or interest in AI, robotics, mapping systems, mineral exploration, defence, space technology or related fields is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or a technically relevant field preferred.
- Bonus: familiarity with pitch materials, accelerators, tools or basic data skills.
