Role Description This is a full-time Founder's Office Intern (Business Development) role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some flexibility to work from home. The intern will work closely with the founders on market research, lead generation, and pipeline building for compliance and risk management services. Day-to-day activities include identifying target segments, preparing outreach lists, supporting email and LinkedIn campaigns, and coordinating with potential clients for meetings and demos. The role involves creating and updating sales decks, proposals, and basic financial or performance trackers, as well as documenting meeting notes and follow-up actions. The intern will also assist in competitive analysis, go-to-market experiments, and cross-functional projects that support strategic decisions for the leadership team.
Qualifications
  • Strong research and analytical abilities, including market mapping, competitor analysis, and data synthesis into concise insights.
  • Business development aptitude, with interest in lead generation, prospecting, sales funnels, and basic CRM or pipeline management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to create decks, emails, client notes, and internal documentation.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) for reports and client materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interest in compliance, data protection, cybersecurity, or management consulting; prior exposure or coursework is a plus.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Curious, proactive, and collaborative mindset, with openness to feedback and willingness to take ownership of projects.
