Job Description:

Debe Learning is looking for a smart and driven Human Resource Lead who can take complete ownership of hiring, onboarding and managing international tutors across subjects, grades, and time slots. In this role, you will be responsible for building a strong tutor pipeline so that the company always has quality teachers available for current and future requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and onboard international tutors end-to-end for all subjects and grades.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of teachers for different subjects, grades, and time slots.
  • Source tutors through different hiring channels and screen them based on company requirements.
  • Conduct initial evaluations, coordinate interviews, and manage the complete hiring process.
  • Ensure tutors are hired within the assigned budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate onboarding, documentation, training alignment, and handover to the academic/team leads.
  • Track hiring requirements regularly and plan hiring in advance to avoid last-minute gaps.
  • Solve hiring challenges creatively and improve the hiring process over time.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Smart, proactive, and ownership-driven individual.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and ability to manage multiple requirements at once.
  • Comfortable speaking with tutors, evaluating profiles, and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Ability to work with targets, timelines, and budgets.
  • Prior experience in hiring, recruitment, edtech, or teacher coordination is a plus, but not mandatory.
