Job Description

Role: Associate – Founder's Office (Growth & Business Development)

Reporting to: Founder & CEO

About the Role

This is not a desk job.

You will work directly with the Founder, helping convert a strong network of CXOs, founders and industry leaders into active mandates for The LHR Group. You'll be in the room with him at client meetings, industry events, corporate mixers, and curated dinners. Your job is to make sure that all opportunities for business are captured and leveraged.

What You'll Do

  • Shadow the Founder across client meetings, industry conferences, exhibitions, and social events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders on behalf of the Founder.
  • Own follow-ups and engagements. Nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Plan and execute small-format events: curated dinners, roundtables, networking gatherings.
  • Maintain a live tracker of relationship status, leads, and pipeline.
  • Coordinate pre-meeting prep and post-meeting action items for the Founder.
  • Identify BD opportunities from the Founder's existing network proactively.

What We're Looking For

2 to 5 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or relationship management.

  • Exposure to B2B environments. Professional services, consulting, or executive search preferred.
  • Polished, confident, and comfortable in senior corporate settings.
  • Persistent without being pushy. Knows how to stay top of mind.
  • Strong with follow-through. Hates leaving things open.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Organised and detail-oriented. Can manage events, calendars, and trackers simultaneously.
  • Discretion and maturity to handle sensitive conversations and relationships.

What This Role Is Not

Not a sales caller. Not a coordinator. This person needs the social intelligence to hold a conversation with a Founder at a cocktail dinner and the tact to convert it into an engagement over the next few days.

Compensation: Competitive + performance-linked incentives based on mandates generated.
