Role Overview
We are looking for a Founder's Office - Generalist to work closely with the founder and leadership team on high-impact strategic and operational initiatives. This role is designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving diverse business problems, and wants exposure to multiple functions across a fast-growing AI startup.
You will act as a force multiplier for the founder, driving key initiatives across GTM, operations, partnerships, product strategy, and investor communications.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to building and scaling a startup, while contributing directly to critical company priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Initiatives
- Work closely with the founder to drive high-priority strategic projects across the organization
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
- Support execution of company-wide initiatives and special projects
Business Operations
- Assist in planning, tracking, and execution of company OKRs
- Build internal dashboards and reports to monitor business performance
- Improve operational workflows across teams
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry tracking
- Identify emerging trends in AI, ML, and enterprise software
- Translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations
Cross-Functional Execution
- Work with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive cross-functional initiatives
- Coordinate between teams to ensure alignment on company priorities
- Support product launches and key go-to-market activities
Founder Support
- Assist in preparing board decks, investor updates, and internal strategy documents
- Support fundraising, partnership discussions, and strategic planning
- Act as a thought partner to the founder on key business decisions
Growth & Special Projects
- Lead 01 initiatives such as process development, new market exploration, or internal tools
- Own short-term projects that require rapid execution and cross-team coordination
- Step into different roles depending on business priorities
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 36 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, product, or startup roles, with at least 1+ year of experience working closely with leadership teams or in a founder's office role.
- Industry Expertise: Exposure to AI/ML, enterprise SaaS, or deep-tech startups preferred; experience in regulated industries such as healthcare is a plus.
- Strategic Execution: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage ambiguity, and drive projects from concept to execution.
- Partnership Development: Experience supporting or managing strategic partnerships, collaborations, or ecosystem relationships.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from a premier institution; MBA preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create high-quality strategic documents, presentations, and reports.
- Startup Experience: Experience in early to growth-stage startups (Seed to Series B preferred) with a strong ownership mindset.
