About This Role

This is not an Executive Assistant role.

It is for someone who can move between research, strategy, business reasoning, problem solving and execution without losing depth.

You may encounter a subject you know nothing about in the morning and be expected to understand it well enough to form a useful point of view by the end of the day.

That does not mean producing a quick summary.

It means knowing what to question, what to ignore, what matters, what is missing and what should happen next.

We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, logically strong and uncomfortable with shallow answers.

The problems may change.

The standard of thinking should not.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Research industries, companies, markets and emerging opportunities.
• Break down unfamiliar or ambiguous business problems.
• Analyse information and identify what actually matters.
• Turn research into clear recommendations and decision notes.
• Support strategic and cross-functional initiatives.
• Track important priorities from discussion to execution.
• Prepare presentations, briefs and business documents.
• Evaluate opportunities with commercial and logical thinking.
• Coordinate across teams where execution requires it.
• Challenge assumptions when evidence suggests a better direction.
• Take ownership of important work that does not fit neatly inside one department.

AI & Your Craft

AI can summarise 50 pages.

It cannot tell you which three sentences matter most.

AI can produce a strategy.

It cannot decide whether the assumptions behind it are sensible.

AI can create a polished presentation.

It cannot replace judgement.

We expect you to use AI extensively to research faster, compare more information and remove repetitive work.

But the final thinking must still be yours.

If AI disappeared tomorrow, you should still be able to:

read, analyse, question, write, reason and decide.
