Job Title: Founder's Office

Location: Hybrid (Gurgaon) 

Reporting To: Founder 

About Nurturing Green: 

Nurturing Green is a one-stop gardening brand, serving customers across India through retail, e-commerce, and quick commerce channels etc. With a growing national presence and recognition as a Shark Tank India – Season 4 featured brand, we are entering a critical phase of scale. 

Our focus is now on strengthening business fundamentals — robust processes, financial discipline, and data-driven decision making — while maintaining speed and agility. 

We are hiring for the Founder's Office to work closely with the Founder on building structure, visibility, and execution muscle across the organization in a fast-moving environment. 

Role Overview: 

This is a high-ownership, high-exposure role at the center of the company. You will work closely with the Founder and HODs to bring clarity, structure, and accountability to how the business operates. 

The role is not comfortable by design. You may work in ambiguity, face resistance and be expected to drive closure across teams while building structure where none exists. 

You will need strong business judgment, financial understanding, and a persistent execution-focused mindset to succeed. 

Who This Role Is Best Suited For

We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked in consumer-facing businesses (D2C, Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) and have experience operating at the intersection of:

  • Supply Chain & Operations
  • Finance & Business Planning
  • Technology & Business Systems
  • Data Analytics & Decision Support

The ideal candidate is someone who has used data to solve real business problems, built business dashboards and reports, worked on supply chain projects, cost optimization, Digital transformation/automation projects, profitability or process improvement etc and is comfortable working with data and Excel.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

1.Business Operations & Process Structuring 

  • Build and streamline end-to-end process flows across functions (Retail, Online, Supply Chain, Finance, NPD, CS, etc.) 
  • Rework and optimize existing processes as scale and complexity increase 
  • Push for adoption and closure, even when teams are stretched or resistant 

2. Metrics, Reviews & Business Visibility 

  • Define key business metrics and KPIs across functions 
  • Build dashboards, trackers, and reporting frameworks (Excel, BI tools, etc.)  
  • Establish a strong operating cadence (weekly/monthly reviews, follow-ups, action tracking)  
  • Translate data into clear, decision-oriented insights 

3. Financial & Business Analysis 

  • Work with the Founder and Finance team on AOP planning and tracking  
  • Analyze P&L, unit economics, contribution margins, and cost drivers  
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and cost optimization opportunities  
  • Track performance vs plan and highlight actionable insights 

4. Founder`s office & Strategic Execution 

  • Support high-priority strategic and cross-functional initiatives  
  • Break down ambiguous problems into structured workstreams  
  • Drive execution across teams and ensure timely closure  
  • Build board decks, investor updates, and strategic reviews  
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve systems using AI/tool 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Strong financial acumen — ability to understand P&L, unit economics, and business drivers, and connect them to real decisions  
  • High ownership and persistence — ability to drive closure in an unstructured, high-ambiguity environment  
  • 2–5 years of experience in Founder's Office / EIR/ Chief of staff/ Consulting for consumer business/ Strategy/ Business Operations/Supply chain projects heavy roles  
  • Experience in consumer brands, D2C, retail, or lifestyle businesses preferred  
  • High comfort with Excel / Google Sheets — ability to work with messy data and extract insights  
  • Familiarity with analytics, workflow, and ERP tools (Power BI, Looker, Notion, Asana, etc.)  
  • Strong bias for data, systems, and process thinking  
  • Interest in AI tools and automation to improve business workflows  
  • Ability to work independently with minimal handholding while managing multiple priorities
