Role Summary
This is a Category Management focused role within the Founder's Office with full P&L accountability. You will own and scale a core product portfolio, driving growth, profitability, innovation, and cross-channel performance.
Responsibilities
Category Ownership and Growth
- Define and drive the growth strategy across all online and offline channels
- Develop and execute business plans covering assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising
- Identify expansion opportunities and under-penetrated segments
Channel Partnership and Enablement
- Act as SME for the portfolio, supporting channel heads across D2C, Q-commerce, Marketplaces, Retail, and Corporate
- Collaborate with Marketing, NPD, Supply Chain, Retail Ops, and Corporate Sales to maximize performance
- Ensure alignment across channels to deliver revenue and margin targets
Consumer and Market Insights
- Leverage data and market trends to identify gaps, new opportunities, and white spaces
- Stay ahead of consumer preferences and competitor strategies
- Coordinate with Customer Support to drive product improvements and NPS enhancement
P&L Management
- Own portfolio P&L, ensuring profitability and healthy inventory turns
- Build forecasts, track performance metrics, and optimize pricing and promotions
- Drive margin expansion while improving working capital efficiency
Innovation and Product Development
- Introduce innovative products aligned with consumer needs
- Build and execute the product roadmap in partnership with the Founder
- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to enhance online merchandising, recommendations, and discoverability
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in business roles, brand management, category roles, strategy, consulting, or high-growth startup environments
- Demonstrated exposure to revenue ownership, growth initiatives, or P&L-linked decision making
- Strong academic background; education from a Tier 1 institution is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear business actions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is an advantage
- Structured thinker with strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, and Operations teams
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in consumer brands, sustainability, and building long-term portfolio leadership
