Job Description

Founder's Office Associate

Melt House and ButterHands

ButterHands and Melt House are founder-led hospitality brands built on a simple belief: exceptional products, obsessive attention to detail, and a relentless commitment to creating memorable customer experiences.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a highly capable Founder's Office Associate to work directly with the founder across both businesses.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, execution, and problem-solving. You will be exposed to virtually every part of the business: from finance and growth to operations, product development, systems, and expansion initiatives.

The role is ideal for a curious generalist who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys taking ownership, and is excited by the challenge of helping build and scale consumer brands from the ground up.

Role overview

The Founder's Office Associate will act as an extension of the founder, helping drive strategic initiatives, improve operational effectiveness, build scalable systems, and ensure key priorities are executed effectively across the organisation.

You will work on a wide variety of projects, often requiring you to move quickly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

No two weeks will look the same.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Projects & Business Initiatives

  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate new growth opportunities, partnerships, locations, products, and business initiatives.
  • Build business cases and recommendations for key projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution.
  • Track progress on strategic priorities and drive accountability across teams.

Business operations

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and areas for process improvement.
  • Design and implement systems, workflows, SOPs, and reporting frameworks.
  • Support the development of scalable operating processes across multiple business functions.
  • Improve organisational efficiency through better documentation, communication, and process management.

Business Performance and analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports.
  • Analyse key business metrics including sales, margins, food costs, labour costs, inventory performance, and cash flow.
  • Generate actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.

Founder Support and Execution

  • Assist in prioritising and managing key business initiatives.
  • Prepare analyses, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Follow up with internal teams to ensure execution against agreed objectives.
  • Act as a central point of coordination for high-priority projects.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong analytical ability, structured thinking, and exceptional ownership.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex business problems, and has the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in consulting, startups, founder's office, business operations, strategy, project management, finance, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.

Hospitality experience is not required.

What success looks like

Within the first 12 months, you will have:

  • Built systems that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Successfully driven key strategic projects from idea to execution.
  • Established meaningful reporting and performance management processes.
  • Reduced operational bottlenecks and improved cross-functional coordination.
  • Increased the organisation's ability to scale through stronger systems and processes.

Most importantly, you will have helped create leverage: enabling the founder and leadership team to focus on the highest-impact opportunities for growth.

Why join us

This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder of two growing consumer brands and gain exposure to every aspect of building and scaling a business.

You will have significant ownership, broad responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the organisation.

If you are excited by challenging problems, ambitious goals, and the opportunity to build rather than simply manage, we would love to hear from you.

Expected Compensation: 6 - 9 LPA

Candidate should be comfortable with commuting across locations in Delhi-NCR
