About the Role

We are looking for an exceptionally driven Founder's Office Associate to work directly with the Founder & CEO and serve as the execution engine of the organization.

This is not an Executive Assistant role.

You will act as the Founder's execution partner—ensuring strategic initiatives move from discussion to completion by coordinating across Product, Technology, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and external stakeholders.

If you're someone who naturally takes ownership, loves solving problems, enjoys working in ambiguity, learns quickly, and gets energy from building things from scratch, this role is for you.

This role offers a fast-track learning environment with exposure to fundraising, business strategy, government grants, product, operations, investor relations, customer insights, and international business expansion.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Founder & CEO

Works closely with:

  • CTO
  • CFO
  • CMO
  • Sales Leadership
  • Product Team
  • Operations Team
  • External Investors
  • Government Bodies
  • Strategic Partners

Key Responsibilities

1. Founder's Execution Office

  • Maintain the Founder's action tracker across meetings, reviews, customer discussions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth for priorities, owners, deadlines, and execution status.
  • Conduct weekly execution reviews with the Founder and leadership team.
  • Drive accountability across functions and ensure commitments are completed on time.
  • Identify execution bottlenecks before they impact business outcomes.
  • Follow through relentlessly until every critical task reaches closure.

2. Strategic Project Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning to execution.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with business priorities and timelines.
  • Create dashboards, trackers, SOPs, meeting notes, and execution reports.
  • Drive operational excellence across departments.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the central coordination point between Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Eliminate communication gaps and ensure smooth execution between teams.
  • Resolve cross-functional blockers before escalating them to the Founder.
  • Ensure leadership meetings result in measurable outcomes and accountability.

4. Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Coordinate fundraising activities alongside the Founder and CFO.
  • Prepare pitch decks, financial summaries, investor presentations, and fundraising documentation.
  • Maintain investor data rooms and ensure all requested documents are updated.
  • Schedule investor meetings and track follow-ups until closure.
  • Support due diligence processes and investor communications.
  • Track fundraising milestones and execution progress.

5. Government Grants & Strategic Partnerships

  • Research and identify government grants, startup schemes, accelerator programs, innovation challenges, and funding opportunities.
  • Coordinate grant applications and maintain submission timelines.
  • Prepare supporting documentation required for grant proposals.
  • Liaise with government agencies, incubators, accelerators, and strategic ecosystem partners.
  • Track compliance and reporting requirements for grant programs.

6. Customer Feedback & Business Insights

  • Collect customer feedback from enterprise clients, consumers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Convert customer feedback into structured insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify recurring customer pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Present Voice of Customer (VoC) reports to leadership.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure customer insights influence product decisions.

7. Business Research & Strategic Initiatives

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, industry benchmarking, and strategic assessments.
  • Support expansion initiatives, partnerships, and new business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing business cases and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI ecosystem developments.

8. Leadership Communication

  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, dashboards, meeting notes, and board materials.
  • Summarize complex discussions into concise action plans.
  • Ensure all key decisions are documented and tracked.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling strategic business information.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for builders—not just task managers.

Someone who:

  • Has an exceptional ownership mindset.
  • Learns incredibly fast.
  • Is highly organized and execution-focused.
  • Thrives in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Can independently solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Is comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
  • Can influence without authority.
  • Has outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pays extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Is curious, resourceful, and always eager to learn.
  • Can manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing momentum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Founder's Office, PMO, Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Startup Operations, Business Analysis, or Program Management.
  • Prior exposure to fundraising, grants, investor relations, or strategic projects is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in startups is highly preferred.
  • MBA is a plus, but execution capability, ownership, and learning ability matter far more than academic pedigree.

Educational Background

We strongly encourage applications from candidates across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 institutions.

We believe exceptional talent is not defined by the college someone attended, but by their curiosity, execution capability, ownership, and willingness to learn.

If you have consistently demonstrated initiative and delivered meaningful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed as the foundation for future leadership opportunities.

High-performing candidates will gain exposure to:

  • Business Strategy
  • Investor Relations
  • Fundraising
  • Product Management
  • Global Business Expansion
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Leadership Decision-Making
  • Government Relations
  • Cross-functional Management

Successful execution can lead to progression into a Chief of Staff or broader strategic leadership role as responsibilities expand.

Experience Required

- 1–3 years, with startup, operations, PMO, founder's office, or strategy-consulting background preferred.

- Prior exposure to fundraising logistics or investor coordination is a strong plus.

- MBA is a plus; execution capability and follow-through matter more than pedigree.

Location

- Hyderabad (preferred).

- Willingness to travel (National & International) for investor meetings, expos, and business expansion activities.

Required Skills

- Strong execution and ownership mindset — things don't fall through the cracks on this person's watch.

- Excellent cross-functional communication; comfortable chasing senior stakeholders without needing the Founder to intervene.

- Strong documentation, tracking, and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple fast-moving threads under pressure.

- High attention to detail.

- Judgment to know when to resolve something directly vs. when to escalate to the Founder.

Growth Path

This role is the foundation for a future Chief of Staff position as scope and trust expand — but starts deliberately scoped to execution and coordination while the current leadership team (CTO, CFO, CMO, Sales/Marketing Head) settles into their seats.

Compensation

- Moderate fixed salary (Industry Standards)

- Performance-based variable, tied to execution-quality and coordination outcomes (e.g., fundraising milestone follow-through, reduction in Founder's status-chasing time)

- ESOP allocation

Important Note

This is not a routine assistant or EA role. We're looking for someone who can own follow-through aggressively, coordinate across teams without needing constant direction, and act as the connective tissue of the Founder's Office — while respecting that strategic decisions in Finance, Product, Tech, and Marketing belong to the leaders running those functions.
