Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to work on deploying and integrating Voice AI systems within real-world environments. This role involves working closely with clients to integrate AI-driven voice solutions into call center platforms, while also owning the underlying cloud infrastructure, scalability, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and integrate Voice AI systems into call center platforms (e.g., Avaya, Genesys)
- Design and manage telephony workflows including IVR, SIP, and call routing
- Build and maintain API and CRM integrations
- Work on real-time systems, ensuring low latency and high reliability in production
- Own cloud infrastructure and deployments across AWS or similar platforms
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues across voice and backend systems
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost
Key Requirements
- Strong backend experience in Python or Node.js
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (compute, networking, scaling)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and real-time systems
- Exposure to telephony or voice systems (SIP, IVR, call flows, Twilio, Genesys, etc.)
- Experience working in production environments with live systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with Voice AI, speech systems, or conversational AI
- Experience with call center platforms (Avaya, Genesys, FreeSWITCH, etc.)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and distributed systems
