Job Description
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who operates at the intersection of applied AI, customer engagement, and real-world deployment. This role is not a traditional software engineering position; it is a customer-facing role focused on helping enterprises adopt, integrate, and scale Vision AI and multimodal systems.
The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to understand business problems, translate them into AI-driven solutions, and ensure successful deployment while contributing insights to product evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to translate business challenges into Vision AI and multimodal solution approaches.
- Act as a trusted advisor across the lifecycle—from discovery to deployment.
- Clearly communicate AI capabilities and limitations to stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong conceptual understanding of Vision AI systems and guide customers on use cases and approaches.
- Evaluate solution effectiveness based on business impact.
- Lead deployment and integration of Vision AI solutions with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and IoT platforms.
- Support deployment across cloud and edge environments.
- Solve real-world challenges including data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Translate field learnings into product insights and influence product roadmap decisions.
- Build reusable deployment templates and best practices for enterprise AI adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or related domains.
- Strong understanding of Vision AI / Computer Vision concepts.
- Experience in enterprise AI deployments and real-world implementations.
- Familiarity with AI platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and edge environments is prefered.
- Strong experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
- Ability to explain AI solutions in business-friendly terms.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Vision AI applications across industries (Retail, Manufacturing, Smart Cities, etc.).
- Exposure to edge AI systems
- Background in startup or enterprise AI environments
