Forward Deployed Engineers sit at the intersection of customer problems and AI solutions. You'll work closely with customers to understand their messy business challenges, architect the right technical solution, and ship production systems. This role combines deep technical execution with customer empathy and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with customers to understand workflow, pain points, and business objectives
- Architect scalable AI solutions that solve real customer problems
- Lead technical implementation from design through production deployment
- Conduct technical discovery interviews and build workflow documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, data, platform) to deliver end-to-end solutions
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
- Strong foundation in system design and architecture
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Comfortable with ambiguity and iterating with customers
- Track record of shipping features/products end-to-end
