Interview Process
Round 1 : AI Interview on Thita.ai
The first round will be conducted through our own AI interview platform.
You'll receive an AI interview covering a combination of:
Depending on the role and your background, the interview may also touch on relevant Computer Science fundamentals.
We aren't only evaluating whether you arrive at the correct answer.
We'll look at:

The goal is to understand how you think, not whether you memorized the perfect solution.
Round 2 — Forward Deployed Engineering Problem
You'll work through a real or representative problem that could exist at Thita.

This isn't a traditional internship where you'll spend months working on an isolated internal project.
You'll be working on products used by real candidates. thita.ai grew organically to 25,000 users. Now interviews.thita.ai will step us into the hiring side.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you'll work directly on problems across engineering, AI, product, and user experience.
A significant part of the role will involve building and improving interviews.thita.ai : our AI interview platform.
You'll help build experiences where candidates can:

A pattern-based approach to DSA that helps users understand:

You'll potentially help build learning and interview experiences around:
Core Computer Science & Engineering
We're also expanding Thita's learning paths and interview capabilities across core engineering subjects such as:
A user performs poorly on database indexing questions during an interview → Thita identifies the underlying knowledge gap → recommends the exact concepts to learn → gives practice questions → brings those concepts back into a future interview.
That's the kind of system you'll get to help build.
What you'll do
Your work might involve:
This is a highly product-oriented engineering role.
You won't just receive a specification and implement it.
Sometimes the entire specification will be:
Users aren't improving after taking multiple interviews. Figure out why.
Your job will be to investigate the problem, understand the user behavior, identify possible solutions, and help ship one.
What we're looking for
You do not need to know everything.
We're looking for someone who has strong fundamentals and learns quickly.
Ideally, you:
You don't need prior experience with every technology we use.

And whether you can turn an unclear problem into something useful.
