Internship Opportunity: Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)
● Location: Hyderabad (Madhapur / T-Hub)
● Mode: On-site (6 days/week)
● Type: Internship (with Stipend)
● Duration: 3 Months (Conversion potential based on performance)
About Julley Online
Julley Online is on a mission to empower India's MSMEs by simplifying their digital operations.
We are building a unified, AI-first SaaS platform that combines CRM, Inventory, and Workflows
into one easy-to-use solution. We are an early-stage (0-1) startup, meaning you will see your
work impact real businesses immediately.
Why This Role Exists
FDEs work at the intersection of product, engineering, and the customer. As an FDE Intern,
you will work closely with senior FDEs, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to
translate clearly defined customer requirements into working product configurations, data
setups, tested workflows, and technical solutions.
You will also work directly with Indian MSMEs to support platform deployments, configure and
build custom workflows, troubleshoot real-world issues, and solve last-mile engineering
challenges that help customers use the product effectively in their day-to-day operations.
What You Will Do
● Deployment & Value Delivery: You are the face of our engineering. You will set up the
platform for new clients, ensuring their data is structured and migrated correctly for
immediate use.
● Workflow Logic Design: Use our internal low-code tools to design custom approval
flows that mirror the real-world operations of our clients.
● Rapid Feedback Loop: You are the eyes and ears on the ground. Identify edge cases
during client interactions and collaborate with the core engineering team to ship fixes
immediately.
● Technical Solutioning: Write scripts to automate manual data entry or generate reports.
You will often have to hack together a solution quickly to solve a client's burning problem.
● Testing & Validation: Test configured workflows, reproduce issues, document expected
vs. actual behavior, support UAT activities and validate fixes before closure
Our Ideal Candidate
● Education: Final year student or recent graduate (B.E./B.Tech) from a reputed college
with strong academic credentials.
● Core Technical Skills: Strong logical reasoning and proficiency in at least one major
programming language. You should be comfortable writing queries to extract and
manipulate data.
● Problem Solving: You can look at a messy, real-world business process and map it into a
logical flow chart or algorithm.
● The Hustle: You are willing to visit client sites when needed and aren't afraid to talk to
users who may not be tech-savvy.
● Resilience: Able to work directly with customers when required without being
intimidated by non-technical or changing situations.
● Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain observations clearly
to senior FDEs and Engineering.
● Strong ownership, follow-through and comfort working in a fast-moving startup
environment.
What You Get
● Mentorship: Work directly with the Founder (17+ years experience) and core team. This
is a high-bandwidth learning environment.
● On-Site Collaboration: Real exposure to SaaS deployments, customer environments
and production problem solving. Hands-on experience with workflows, data, APIs,
testing, troubleshooting and technical solutioning
● Career Definition: High-performing interns will be the first choice for full-time offers as
we scale.
● Stipend: Competitive stipend provided.
The Startup Reality (Read Carefully)
This is a hands-on, on-site internship in a 0-to-1 startup environment. Priorities can change
quickly, customer issues may need urgent attention, and you will often learn by solving real
problems rather than following a fixed playbook. Occasional extended hours or weekend
support may be required for critical customer or deployment needs.
