As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will be the technical face of the company, responsible for deeply understanding client use cases, deploying AI agents tailored to enterprise workflows, integrating with legacy systems, and delivering production-ready solutions at scale. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role that blends software development, solution architecture, and technical consulting.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand business workflows and design customised AI Agent solutions.
- Lead the deployment, integration, and configuration of the Agentic platform within enterprise environments (cloud/on-prem/hybrid).
- Build and deliver production-grade interfaces between our platform and enterprise systems such as CRMs, ERPs, HRIS, EHRs, and custom APIs.
- Serve as a bridge between customers and product/engineering teams, communicating feedback, proposing features, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Collaborate with ML and product teams to operationalise LLM/SLM-based workflows and design safe, scalable agent behaviour patterns.
- Conduct onsite workshops, system audits, and go-lives at enterprise customer sites across the US and Europe.
- Document technical implementations, best practices, and reference architectures for reuse across customers and verticals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering, solution delivery, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, or JavaScript.
- Experience with REST APIs, OAuth, Webhooks, and enterprise data integration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of LLM technologies, GenAI workflows, RAG, vector search, and orchestration frameworks is highly preferred.
- Ability to work with enterprise IT/security teams to handle auth, logging, data residency, and deployment requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and executive presentations.
- Willingness to travel internationally (US/Europe) on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a startup or customer-facing technical consulting role.
- Exposure to enterprise domains such as healthcare, finance, HR, or customer service.
- Experience deploying or integrating Conversational AI, Agent Assist, or workflow automation solutions.
