Profile : Formwork Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Study and interpret architectural and structural drawings for lift shafts, core walls, and facades.
- Design custom self-climbing platform systems, including:
Hydraulic or mechanical lifting mechanisms
Anchoring and bracket systems
Platform framing, walking decks, and safety rails
General Arrangement (GA) drawings
Detailed 3D models (using SolidWorks or similar tools)
Connection and assembly details
Structural analysis reports (STAAD Pro, ANSYS, or SolidWorks Simulation)
Bill of Materials (BOM) for fabrication
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, fabrication, and site execution to refine and finalize engineering solutions.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant safety codes, load-bearing criteria, and erection standards.
- Support field teams with technical inputs during installation and system commissioning.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D design
- Proficiency in structural analysis using tools like STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, or SolidWorks Simulation
- Experience in temporary works, formwork design, or construction engineering
- Strong understanding of fabrication, structural steel, and aluminum systems
- Working knowledge of international design codes (EN, AISC, Eurocode, etc.)
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to safety and detail
