WE ARE HIRING | FORMWORK DESIGN ENGINEER

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Head Office)

Position: Design Engineer / Assistant Design Manager

Experience: 2–5 Years

We are looking for a skilled Formwork Design Engineer with experience in formwork and scaffolding design, temporary works engineering, and structural design calculations.

Qualification

• B.E. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage

Required Skills

• MS Office
• AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Hands-on experience with formwork and scaffolding systems
• Knowledge of 3D modelling, BIM, or structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar tools will be an added advantage
• Understanding of structural safety, load capacity, stability, and relevant design codes

Key Responsibilities

Prepare structural design calculations, scheme drawings, and assembly details for formwork and scaffolding systems.

Design and analyse wall, column, and slab formwork, table forms, and different scaffolding systems.

Create and review 2D/3D general arrangement drawings, shell plans, and fabrication details.

Coordinate with site execution teams and clients to resolve design constraints and technical issues.

Optimise material usage, cost, and reuse while maintaining structural safety.

Prepare method statements, work procedures, material lists, and technical documentation.

Ensure compliance with relevant Indian and international design codes and safety standards.
