We are looking for a Formulation Chemist with 2+ years of experience to join our cosmetic and personal care R&D team. The role involves developing, improving, and documenting formulations for skin care and personal care products across multiple categories. environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out formulation development for the company's cosmetic, skin care, and personal care brands.
- Define product characteristics, technical concepts, and ingredient compositions based on product briefs.
- Prepare initial, intermediate, and final formulations for lab and pilot-scale batches.
- Conduct laboratory trials and maintain detailed records of observations, test data, and results.
- Support stability, compatibility, and basic performance testing.
- Document formulation details, technical rationale, and development guidance for internal teams and scale-up.
- Work on multiple formulations simultaneously, supporting a high-volume product development pipeline.
Requirements:
- MSc in Chemistry or cosmetic sciences or B.Pharm / M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical sciences and Diploma in cosmetic sciences.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation.
- Strong background in skin care & personal care products.
- Knowledge of Indian, EU, US FDA, and GCC cosmetic compliance.
- Passion for beauty, cosmetics, and product innovation.
