Primary Responsibilities:
- Experience in Global Trade Compliance process
- Review and audit of customs documents like (Commercial invoice, Import Entry, Packing list/Delivery Challan, Check lists, Airway Bill/Bill of Lading)
- Review and audit of import documents for correct EOIR & VAT registrations used
- Very good understanding of US FTZ process & Customs Entry Types.
- Report any discrepancies in documents and coordinate with respective carrier/broker for correct the documents
- Export compliance operations / GTS release
- Support management on monthly KPI and adhoc report requests
- Shipment track and trace using various carrier portals
- Should be able to drive continuous improvement projects in day-to-day activities/process.
- Should have exposure to problem solving tools like 5why, PDCA, etc
- Knowledge on global trade and compliance practices and procedure.
- Monitoring trade compliance exceptions and reporting.
- Knowledge on foreign-trade zones operations and procedure
- Should be able to fulfill the requirements of FTZ operations (specially US Ftz) and deviation tracking.
- Knowledge of Warehouse receiving and shipping process
Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:
- Experience in working with SAP and share point sites.
- Experience in working with MS Excel, office, power point.
- Project management skills (tracking, review, driving to closure)
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
