Footwear Designer

Blyth Sneakers is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer Intern to join our remote design team. You'll work directly on sneaker concepts, design exploration, colorways, materials, and visual development for upcoming Blyth collections.

This is a 3-month internship with an opportunity to build real-world experience in the footwear and fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative sneaker and footwear design concepts.
• Create sketches, moodboards, colorways, and design variations.
• Research current footwear, fashion, and streetwear trends.
• Explore materials, textures, patterns, logos, and detailing.
• Collaborate with the Blyth team to develop new sneaker collections.
• Convert creative concepts into practical, production-ready design ideas.
• Contribute to limited-edition and seasonal footwear concepts.
• Take feedback and refine designs based on brand requirements.

Requirements

• Strong interest in footwear, fashion, sneakers, or product design.
• Good understanding of colors, proportions, patterns, and visual aesthetics.
• Sketching/design skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Blender, or similar tools is a plus.
• A portfolio or previous design work is preferred but not mandatory.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Students, freshers, and aspiring designers are welcome.
