About The Opportunity
This is not a conventional food production or quality control role.
We are looking for a Food Scientist who can help build the scientific foundation behind future-ready nutrition products, functional foods, wellness beverages, performance-focused meals, and innovative nutrition systems.
You will work closely with nutritionists, chefs, product teams, and founders to create products that are nutritionally effective, operationally scalable, commercially viable, and scientifically credible.
Key Responsibilities 1. Functional Food & Product Development
- Develop innovative food products aligned with wellness and transformation goals
- Design functional foods, wellness beverages, protein-rich products, and nutrition-focused offerings
- Evaluate ingredients based on nutrition, functionality, shelf life, and consumer acceptance
- Support product standardization and scalability
- Nutrition & Scientific Validation
- Work with nutrition teams to align products with health outcomes
- Evaluate nutritional profiles and ingredient interactions
- Support evidence-based product development
- Ensure scientific credibility of nutrition claims and product positioning
- Product Innovation & Research
- Identify emerging trends in food science, gut health, preventive wellness, and functional nutrition
- Explore novel ingredients and food technologies
- Conduct product research, testing, and improvement initiatives
- Contribute to long-term innovation pipelines
- Quality, Stability & Commercialization
- Support shelf-life studies and product stability assessments
- Develop product specifications and documentation
- Assist in quality assurance frameworks
- Help bridge the gap between R&D and commercial execution
