Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Safety and Hygiene Officer based in Kochi. The responsibilities include monitoring and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, conducting hygiene and safety inspections, and implementing quality assurance measures. The officer will also oversee food preparation procedures, conduct staff training on hygiene practices, and maintain health and safety documentation to meet industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Food Safety and Food Technology
- Proficiency in Health & Safety practices and Hygiene protocols
- Experience in Quality Assurance processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to identify risks and resolve them effectively
- A degree in Food Science, Public Health, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in hospitality or event management is an added advantage
