About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and result-oriented Delivery Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end delivery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing delivery fleets, ensuring timely deliveries, improving operational efficiency, and scaling last-mile logistics operations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in fleet and rider management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Build, onboard, and manage delivery fleets, riders, and delivery executives.
- Monitor and optimize last-mile delivery performance, route planning, and rider productivity.
- Ensure adherence to delivery SLAs, operational KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Coordinate with warehouse, supply chain, customer support, and business teams for smooth operations.
- Analyze operational data and implement process improvements to reduce delivery costs and increase efficiency.
- Handle fleet utilization, rider attendance, shift planning, and performance management.
- Resolve delivery-related escalations and operational bottlenecks promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies for scaling delivery operations across new locations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in Delivery Operations, Last-Mile Logistics, Fleet Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong understanding of hyperlocal delivery models and route optimization.
- Experience managing delivery executives, riders, or field operations teams.
- Knowledge of dispatch management systems and delivery tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and operational data analysis.
