About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Food & Beverages Cinematographer who specializes in capturing visually irresistible food content that elevates brand storytelling. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of food styling, lighting for textures, and creating appetite-appealing visuals for ads, social media, and product-based campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Shoot high-quality food and beverage visuals for product videos, ads, reels, recipe videos, brand stories, and campaigns.
- Plan and conceptualize shots in collaboration with the creative team, food stylists, and brand managers.
- Master lighting techniques specific to food and beverages to highlight texture, freshness, steam, pour shots, and ingredient details.
- Operate and manage professional video equipment, including cameras, lenses, gimbals, and lighting setups.
- Direct and oversee set preparation, ensuring food styling, props, and backgrounds align with brand aesthetics.
- Capture slow-motion, macro shots, and aesthetic product movements to enhance visual storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with post-production teams to ensure final output reflects the intended look, feel, and color tone.
- Stay updated with food film trends, visual storytelling styles, and trending formats on social platforms.
- Manage shoot timelines, equipment setup, and safe handling of food & beverage items during production.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience as a Cinematographer/Videographer with a strong portfolio in food and beverage content.
- Expertise in lighting techniques for food, including soft lighting, top lighting, natural light simulation, and high-contrast looks.
- Hands-on experience with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, lenses, and professional lighting gear.
- Deep understanding of shot composition, color theory, and texture enhancement.
- Ability to work with food stylists, chefs, and creative teams during production.
- Strong knowledge of video formats for commercials, brand films, and social media (short-form & long-form).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to visualize concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agency or production environment.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
