About the Role
Reporting To: General Manager
Candidate Profile:
The F&B Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring exceptional guest experience, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all F&B operations including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction
- Plan and implement menus in coordination with the Executive Chef
- Monitor daily operations and resolve guest complaints promptly
- Control food and beverage costs, wastage, and inventory
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations
- Train, mentor, and develop F&B team members
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations
- Drive sales through promotions, events, and upselling strategies
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP)
- Financial acumen and cost-control expertise
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
