Position Title: F&B Manager
Salary Range: SGD 8500 - 9500
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall daily operations of the restaurant.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and service standards to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
- Manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations and coordinate daily work activities among team members.
- Plan manpower deployment, staff scheduling and workflow arrangements based on operational requirements.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate restaurant employees.
- Conduct staff training on service standards, operational procedures, food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
- Monitor customer service standards and handle customer feedback and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor restaurant sales performance and prepare regular operational and performance reports.
- Manage food and operating costs, inventory levels, stock usage and wastage.
- Work with suppliers and relevant parties to ensure the timely availability of operational supplies.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and business performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant food safety, workplace safety and other applicable regulatory requirements. - Perform other management duties related to restaurant operations as assigned by the Company.
Position Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Business Management or other relevant disciplines is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in restaurant or F&B operations, with substantial experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.
- Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for restaurant operations and service standards.
- Experience in staff recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management, including the ability to train and develop new restaurant teams.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operational processes, manpower planning, inventory management, food cost control and wastage management.
- Ability to provide hands-on operational and kitchen support, including assisting in the standardisation of food preparation procedures and operational workflows.
- Experience in establishing, implementing or maintaining standardised restaurant operating procedures, including kitchen workflows, service procedures and staff training programmes, will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Chinese-style casual dining operations, particularly noodle- and soup-based cuisine, will be an advantage.
- Ability to analyse operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required by restaurant operations.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for work-related communication with Mandarin-speaking staff and for reviewing and working with Chinese-language menus, operational materials and training materials used in the business.
