FMEA moderator

Methode Electronics India Pvt Ltd is seeking Engineers to be a part of FMEA team to work on below listed key areas to support automotive product development activities.

Job location: Bangalore

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Education: Diploma or BE

Job Description:

- Autonomous planning, implementation, and moderations of project based FMEAs

- Compliance with predefined methods and ensure the formal validity of the FMEAs

- Ensuring consistency between product and process FMEAs

- Securing the FMEA interface to the customer and supplier

- Moderate characteristic classification

- Moderate FMEAs across many locations

- Feedback of lessons learned from 8D during FMEAs

- Creation of reusable FMEA modules

- Creation and distribution of FMEA evaluations

- Monitoring progress of FMEA projects

- Training of FMEA methodology and software

- Documentation, release, and archiving FMEAs

Job requirements :

- Experience as an FMEA moderator in the automotive industry

- Experience in the area of quality/ quality control and Technical Cleanliness.

- Knowledge of FMEA methods in accordance with VDA and ISO/ TS

- Knowledge of IEC61508, ISO26262, Automotive SPICE and CMMI norms

- Experience with FMEA software, preferably APIS IQ‐Software

- Autonomous work ethic und ability to communicate in an international setting

- Motivation, endurance, team spirit, flexibility

- Confident appearance and assertiveness

- Competent with Office software

- Very good reading and writing skills in English
