We are looking for a Flutter Developer with 35 years of industry experience and strong hands-on expertise in building high-quality, visually polished mobile apps. The ideal candidate cares deeply about UI/UX finesse, smooth performance, and clean architecture. Experience in video/media playback is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Dart with a strong focus on UI quality and usability.
- Deliver pixel-perfect, responsive UI across devices and screen sizes.
- Optimize app performance: startup time, memory usage, and smooth scrolling/animations.
- Integrate and maintain REST APIs, handle authentication, caching, and error states gracefully.
- Implement state management and scalable app architecture.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams in an Agile/Scrum setup.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to coding standards, and maintain high code quality.
Required Skills & Experience- 35 years of software development experience with strong Flutter hands-on work.
- Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, and animations.
- Proven ability to build beautiful UI (typography, spacing, transitions, micro-interactions).
- Strong understanding of performance optimization in Flutter (rendering pipeline basics, widget rebuild minimization, profiling).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Strong debugging skills and comfort with development tools (Flutter DevTools, logs, crash traces).
- Good communication skills (spoken and written English) and ability to work independently.
Good to Have (Preferred)- Experience in Media/OTT domain or apps involving video/audio streaming.
- Experience integrating media players (examples: ExoPlayer, AV Player, HLS/DASH, DRM familiarity is a bonus).
- Knowledge of Android and/or iOS native development (to handle platform-specific plugins/issues).
- Experience with Android Studio/Xcode, CI/CD basics, and app release processes.
Qualifications- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
- 35 years of relevant experience in mobile application development.
