Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Flower Supervisor located in Thoothukudi. The responsibilities of the role include overseeing day-to-day flower production operations, managing employee teams, coordinating planting schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the health and aesthetics of the nursery plants. The Flower Supervisor will also interact with vendors, assist in logistical planning, and monitor inventory levels to meet demand effectively.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of plant care and horticultural practices, including planting, pruning, and maintenance
- Strong organizational and managerial skills for team management and operational oversight
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality standards in all production processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, vendors, and clients
- Knowledge of logistics planning and inventory management
- Familiarity with health and safety practices in a nursery or agricultural setting
- Flexibility to work outdoors and adapt to varying work conditions
- Previous experience in nursery or agricultural management is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
