Role Overview
We are looking for a Flowable Architect to join and shape our Flowable Center of Excellence (CoE) in India, a strategic pillar of our APAC growth.
You will define architecture standards, guide delivery teams, and help establish a scalable Flowable capability across the region.

What You Will Do
- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for Flowable-based process automation projects (BPMN 2.0, CMMN 1.1, DMN 1.3)
- Design Flowable architecture patterns including identity management, authentication/SSO, and Flowable permissions
- Lead installation, configuration, and infrastructure setup of Flowable products based on client requirements
- Design CI/CD pipelines and cloud engineering strategies for Flowable deployments
- Define integration architecture using REST APIs, web services, JMS, and event-driven patterns
- Collaborate closely with Flowable Engineers and consultants throughout the project lifecycle — sharing expertise and ensuring architectural consistency
- Act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients — translate business requirements into scalable Flowable architectures
- Establish and promote Flowable best practices, coding standards, and the Flowable Operating Model within the Competence Center
- Evaluate and implement AI agent orchestration strategies using Flowable as a central process and decision engine
- Support pre-sales activities including solution scoping, effort estimation, and technical proposals

2–5 years in BPM / enterprise architecture with Flowable or comparable BPM platform exposure

Own full solution architecture for enterprise-grade Flowable implementations; define CoE-wide architectural standards and drive strategic client engagements
Experience
5+ years in enterprise BPM architecture with deep Flowable platform expertise and a track record of delivering complex implementations
Your Profile
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or related field
- Deep expertise in Flowable Architecture Patterns and proven experience defining solution architecture based on client infrastructure
- Experience with Identity Management, Authentication, and SSO integration in Flowable environments
- Hands-on experience installing and configuring Flowable products including CI/CD pipelines and cloud engineering
- Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, CMMN 1.1, and DMN 1.3; ability to model and govern complex business processes
- Proficiency with web services, JMS, and integration broker patterns in enterprise Flowable contexts
- Solid understanding of Flowable permissions and security models
- Experience establishing Flowable Best Practices and the Flowable Operating Model within delivery organizations
- Ability to explain architectural decisions clearly to both technical teams and executive business stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Java / Spring Boot expertise for developing Flowable extensions, delegates, and microservices
- Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks for Flowable UI integrations
- Knowledge of AI agents and orchestration — designing systems where Flowable governs AI-driven decision processes
- Experience in pre-sales: scoping, estimating, and presenting technical proposals to clients
