JOB TITLE : FLOOR MANAGER

LOCATION : Noida

REPORTS TO :Store Manager

JOB OVERVIEW :

The Floor Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, supervising sales staff, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store presentation standards. The role involves closely monitoring customer interactions, product displays, and team performance to drive store productivity and deliver a premium shopping experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS :

1. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance of team members and motivate them to improve results.
  • Ensure maximum conversion of walk-in customers into buyers.
  • Promote store schemes, offers, and promotional campaigns to customers.
  • Support the team in closing high-value sales.

2. Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service on the shop floor.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with repeat and high-value customers.
  • Ensure customers receive personalized service and guidance during purchases.

3. Team Supervision

  • Supervise sales executives, cashiers, and support staff on the floor.
  • Allocate counters and manage shift duties of employees.
  • Train new staff members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Monitor employee discipline, grooming, and professionalism.

4. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

  • Ensure product displays are attractive and aligned with brand standards.
  • Maintain proper arrangement of products in showcases.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and premium ambience.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional displays.

5. Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with inventory and commercial teams for stock availability.
  • Ensure fast movement of popular products on the sales floor.
  • Inform management about slow-moving stock.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily sales reports and customer feedback reports.
  • Monitor store footfall and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular updates to Store Manager regarding floor activities.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field. (preferred)
  • 36 years of experience in retail sales or showroom management.

Strong sales and negotiation skills

Customer relationship management

Team leadership and motivation

Problem solving and decision making

Product presentation and merchandising knowledge
