Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, skilled in mixology, organized, and able to maintain a positive, service-driven atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

* Oversee daily bar operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking beverages and supplies.

* Monitor beverage costs and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve profitability.

Team Leadership

* Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and bar staff.

* Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on excellent customer service.

* Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training to improve skills and product knowledge.

* Address staff concerns and manage performance evaluations.

Customer Experience

* Ensure guests receive outstanding service and high-quality beverages.

* Handle guest complaints or issues quickly and professionally.

* Create a welcoming, energetic environment consistent with the venue's brand and culture.

Financial & Administrative Duties

* Track bar sales and prepare operational reports.

* Assist with budgeting and sales forecasting.

* Maintain point-of-sale systems and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.

* Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when applicable.

Qualifications

*4-5 years of bar management experience preferred.

* Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Understanding of inventory management, cost control, and scheduling.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand for extended periods.

* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
